Good idea but based on what criteria? You may want to specify what the criteria is for the ratings and sort them from the most important. For example, Reliability/Uptime, Customer service, Performance, Package Features, etc. Cost is in my opinion not a very good criteria since often it leads to poor performance in other critical areas.

Best Wishes for a .Net Success!

Agreed: Let's start with your suggestions... Reliability/Uptime, Customer service, Performance, Package Features...

Anymore criteria?

Current reputation in the industry, reliability, uptime, customer service, performance, speedy support, security, network infrastructure, data centre, offers, pricing for add-on packages such as additional bandwidth / disk space.

There are some more which may be of interest.

I think to make a good reputation any industry needs to provide 24x7x365 support and great uptime.

We need to check out and evaluate the resellers before rating them. Lets consider the following criteria,

1. What control panels do they use and offer?
2. How many CP we get for free?
3. Do we get any IPs?
4. How much space and bandwidth do they offer?
5. What about their customer service to us and our clients?
5. How much we pay for extras?
6. Can we grow with the company?
7. Do they offer both Linux and Windows?
8, What about their prices, guarantee and how long they keep on their guarantees?

I believe Psoft's Partner page would helps us to select some of the resellers.

Rate them @ psoft.net/resellers (http://www.psoft.net/resellers.php)

I Agree with theheavenly

the top 10 hosts are going to be different though for windows compared to linux.

We need to clarify the criteria - number of hosted sites, price, uptime, etc.
If we don't this discussion is useless.

To make the list of top 10 resellers you can consider features like support, uptime, reliability, customer service, pacakage features etc but I think the simplest way to make the top 10 reseller list is by considering the number of satisfied customer and their feedback.

I guess building reseller top list based on their features is mainly waste of time. The main criterion must be how long certain reseller is on the Net, i.e. how reliable is this service.

Length does not always mean they are a good reseller. Yes, most long term resellers will be good, but some are plain shrewd business people who find another sucker.
