Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is the secure version of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website that you are connected to. The 'S' at the end of HTTPS stands for 'Secure'. It means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted.

It is not required to have a dedicated IP any more for SSL. If your host has SNI enabled, then you can install SSL easily.
A lot of hosts also provide Let's encrypt which allows you to issue free SSL from within cPanel with a few clicks.

You need to connect an ssl certificate, this is a security certificate. Detailed step-by-step instructions have already been described. I advise you to connect the notice of the expiration date of the lease certificate and domain host-tracker.com/ru/Blog/Domain_ssl (https://www.host-tracker.com/ru/Blog/Domain_ssl/) Such things are better to prolong in advance.

you can hire a developer to do this.

You can easily install a SSL yourself if you have the access. If not, your host will usually do this for you at no extra cost.

To activate the HTTPS protocol, you need to install an SSL certificate on your website’s server. SSL certificates are small digital files that verify and validate the identity of your site and/or company. SSL certificates follow the TLS (Transport Layer Security) technology that encrypts sensitive data in transit.

When choosing an SSL certificate for your site, the main aspects to consider are validation type and price. Sometimes, looking for the ideal cert may be a bit overwhelming, with so options on the market. That’s why some SSL vendors develop neat SSL tools

to help you select the best SSL product for your needs and budget.

Once you get your certificate, you need to install it on your server. You can do it by yourself via cPanel or any other hosting panel that supports the installation feature. Alternatively, you can ask a system administrator to install it for you.

Create a private and public key pair, and prepare a Certificate Signing Request (CSR), including information about the organization and the public key.
Contact a certification authority and request an HTTPS certificate, based on the CSR.
Obtain the signed HTTPS certificate and install it on your web server.
