A funnel is made up of a goal page(s) and one or more funnel pages (also known as the funnel steps). Through funnels you can determine, where users enter and exit the conversion/sales process. You can then determine and eliminate bottlenecks in your conversion/sales process in order to improve the website sales

Funnel analysis involves using a series of events that lead towards a defined goal, like from user engagement in a mobile app to a sale in an eCommerce platform or advertisement to purchase in online advertising. The funnel analyses "are an effective way to calculate conversion rates on specific user behaviors".

Funnel shows the page level step by step path by which the user lands on your web page. You can access it through GA>>Goal>>Conversation>>funnel visualization.

We have to track the google analytics traffic through each funnel.
