Stats Differences

I have a stats package through the package I use, and I also have a free service (http://extremetracking.com). I am also registered to a local service which highlights and ranks companies in certain categories (travel, etc.)based on the number of visitors they receive. There has never been an occaision when all three services offer the same stats. How can this be?

A lot of stats tools have discrepencies ... just part of how they work. Usually, server-side stats tools that run off oyur web host work best.
