Google launching a major new feature that incorporates streaming audio previews when you search for an artist, album, or song using the search engine.

Well, I'm not the host master but I was curious too about the Google Music Search, so I did some googling and found the article in mashable (http://mashable.com/2009/10/28/google-music-search/)

This going to be great cause I usually do the music search on google or youtube.

Very interesting. I think it was definitely smart of them to make a music search and it'll definitely be beneficial to their partners. One thing I noticed is that there are very few ads in the search results. This is a great opportunity for music-related websites and businesses to get cheap Pay Per Click campaigns.

In my opinion there is no need for that. There a lot of website, which allow to do that. As an example, https://musiety.com/role/dj/ , you can search for song, artist, dj and composer. But also, see equipment and instruments they are using :)
