Hey Guys,

I need some serious help with a web server im going to build so I can start hosting my own websites. What I need to know is do I need to up my current internet connection… 6 Mbps/512 Kbps (down/up) to host more that 1 site… (Goal is at least 60), and if I do need to up the bandwidth what would yall recommend? And should get a separate Static IP just for server itself or use the same IP I have now that I use for 2 computers and Xbox 360 ( main computer is wired in and the laptop and Xbox 360 are wireless).

Here are the specs of my server im going to build

Our whole group of companies using this server and actually VMware Server is completely compatible with VMware vSphere. By using the free web-based service VMware Go, users can easily migrate virtual machines created in VMware Server over to vSphere.VMware vSphere is the industry’s most complete and robust platform for virtualization, transforming IT infrastructures into a private cloud, which can be bridged on-demand to public VMware-based clouds. Deliver IT infrastructure as an easily accessible service and enable the next generation of flexible, reliable IT services with the efficiency and low cost of cloud computing.

I recommend you check bodhost.com for good dedicated servers (http://www.bodhost.com/dedicated-server-hosting.shtml). They have good range of servers. I think they will be able to meet all of your needs.

Also when you contact the host provider ask the specs and verify with them what you are looking.
