Hi,

I am currently trying to build my website and would like to have a flash Introduction page. I have purchased one from a template site. I would really need help as to how to embed it into my site. Any advise would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Can you introduce yourself first before asking for help? :rolleyes:

A flash intro needs to be the first page on the site

make a html file useing your program or notepad what ever you use and name it index.html (remember there is an index already on your site rename to index1 or home or whatever you want.

paste the contents below in index file you make(make changes that you need to change)
i put yourintro as the flash file (you need to put the name of the flash file there)
i added the skip link html that leads to your index1.html or name it to what ever page, just change the (your photo) to the photo you want the skip intro button to look like.

all this goes between the body of the page

<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1">
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
<td><br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
</td>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
<td><div align="center">
<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0"
WIDTH="700" HEIGHT="350" ALIGN="middle">
<PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="yourintro.swf">
<PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high>
<PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF>
<EMBED src="yourintro.swf" quality=high bgcolor=#FFFFFF WIDTH="700" HEIGHT="350" ALIGN="middle"
TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></EMBED>
</OBJECT>
</div></td>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
<td>
<table width="700" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1">
<tr>
<td align="right"><a href="index1.html"><img src="your photo.gif" width="150" height="20" border="0"></a></td>
</tr>
</table>
</td>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
</table>

As far as I know flash is not easy at all.
You'd better hire skilled web designer.
