I have read that you can now get Google-PR-like applications that show you how likely it is a site is a phishing site. How do these applications work?:)

Take a look at http://toolbar.netcraft.com/ as they put it it is like a giant neighbourhood watch it works on other people with the toolbar reporting the phishing site.
