When it is not nough funds for a full-fledged dedicated server, but person dosn't want to have VPS with shared resources - will it be reasonable to get hybrid servers (such as offered at hostv.com) or better waiting/looking for more suitable time/offer of dedicated server?

Thank you.

Semi dedicated is semi dedicated and VPS is VPS. Can you please specify what exactly are you looking for?
Semi dedicated can be associated with shared hosting.

-There is no big difference between VPS and semi-dedicated (there should not be).The thing with the VPS is that you have part of the server resources for your needs and with the semi-dedicated it is not obligatory as these resources may vary depending on the server type, its configuration and the other users installed currently.
-A VPS in a virtual server within a server. A semidedicated is a special case of shared hosting.

Yes, Dedicated server services Generally costs high amount of money and that is over US$100 per month. But there is a lot benefit from it. You can always reach a website which has a unique IP address by using its IP address alone. And you get High level of Security.

Shared web hosting Cost less compared to the Dedicated one. This is a better option for Personal websites or small size companies that doesn't require much security..

Semi Dedicated and Virtual Private Server are two different things you should clearly specify your requirements. Semi dedicated hosting can be categorized as a shared hosting.

Virtual private server is good when your business depend on website with very large number of user database and semi dedicated hosting come in share hosting category and good for new and initial phase business.

I think you should go for "managed" VPS which will be backed by 24X7 support. IMO, it could be cheaper than dedicated server. Depending on the growth of traffic on your site, later you can shift to a dedicated server.
