Suppose abc.com is primary domain of my hosting account,I want to change the main directory of this website ,can I do that ? If so ,how to do it ?

On your web server, root directory is the highest directory you can go to. If this is a UNIX, LINUX type server, that means "/". (slash). If it is Windows type server, it usually means the boot drive and the highest directory. (usually c:\).
