i am buying a package of hosting but it doesnot have cpanel .. but some other control panel ..
one of my friend told me not to buy such a package which have some other panel...
i want to ask that does it make any difference ??

I don't like CPanel and I can recommend DirectAdmin control panel.

What package you have been offered by the hosting comany and which control panel they are giving you. I use CPanel it is user friendly and easy to use.

They are providing Control panel named : VDECK 2.0

Maybe they have their "own" in house control panel.
There are several different control panels available though...not just cpanel.
We use the Alabanza cp.

The CP dosent matter you've to choose with which you are comfortable and feel easier to use.

CP security is something else worth considering. I've heard that CPanel has plenty of bugs...

I have used Direct Admin before. It is very fast and easy to use CP. I strictly recommend it.

Every CP makes difference for everyone and everyone have a choice of their own CP. My choice - H-Sphere.

I have been in the hosting business for many years. I have never ever used a control panel as good as HELM, i moved to helm in 2003 and have never looked back. Helm is for Windows Hosting (not linux). Its excellent and would recommend it to anyone.
