You can expect deep packet inspection related to network from Cyberoam’s hardware firewall. Organizations can expect to gain protection from DDos and IP Spoofing attacks too.

Comodo Firewall would be the right choice, For further details visit this link
http://www.comodo.com/resources/home/firewall-facts.php
Now you get antivirus (http://antivirus.comodo.com/) and firewall in a single software from Comodo!

ned is wrong, tbs is correct.
Software firewalls are within the OS, and as such, are susceptible to malware modification unknown to the user.
Which is not to say hardware is bullet proof: there are hacks, but not of the variety and severity of software born ones.

Having a hardware firewall has it's own advantages, here are some of the advantages of having a Hardware firewall. A single hardware firewall can protect your entire network. They run on their own dedicated CPU and memory not taking away computer resources. Hardware firewalls can not be disabled by malware as easily as software firewalls can. And the best thing I like about a single hardware firewall is that it can protect multiple computers without needing a license for each computer. Hardware firewalls still protect the computer when the operating system crashes.

I used router as firewalls. A firewall helps you from online threats hackers, virus spread from computer to computer.

In case, you are planning to look for the deep packet inspection, nothing can beat the importance of hardware firewalls of all time, of all time.
