I think you need to have more options to compare offers and choose the suitable one. I recommend you to use Eurodns (http://www.eurodns.com/) services which are really cheap and quality, you won't regret of using them

Enom has good domains but I am not having good vibes with the godaddy these days. I haven't looked at namecheap in a good while myself.

Yeah, Eurodns.com looks to be trustworthy place to register domain names.
It offers a wide range of specials:
- register .IT extension for 8.40 euros - use the code PBIT7012!
- PBES7012 - reg .ES for 5.40 euros.

is that the only option?
By the way, godaddy just losing huge number of domain after the SOPA issue

i prefer to use namecheap over godaddy anytime because godaddy supports SOPA and that takes our freedom on the internet. why would we ever want that? i know a lot of people transferred out their domains because they were supporters of SOPA.

Namecheap are brilliant. Clean interface, low prices (they have a promo/coupon code website as well) and the support is fairly responsive too in-case you run into troubles.

GoDaddy's interface, is, well, a mess in my opinion. Cannot comment on support as I've never used it.

I've always used Namecheap to register all the domains I want, I don't really have experience with godaddy but I'd recommend namecheap anyways.

I do not like both and instead I like other registrar who charge less money for domain registration. Price of both company is high so chose other provider like Namesilo with less price.

Both domain providers are good to provide their unique features and services, I would recommend you to check scopenames (https://www.scopenames.com) to register the domains

I think godaddy is most successful domain registrar now a days and prices are also reasonable

I haven't used Namecheap, so I can't comment on that. But I have used Godaddy for some years in the past.
What annoys me about them is that they regularly completely change their layout and panel, which is very confusing.
I've been using Internet.bs now for years and have been very happy with them. Simple clean layout, easy to use controls.
Live chat is always available as well, so support is quick when you need it. And their prices are certainly not bad either.

Namescheap is better

Domain name providers are pretty notorious for having intro pricing…then raising the price on you to make money ongoing. So for me the best way of judging apples to apples is to look at their 1 year renewal pricing for .com domain names.

GoDaddy runs at $14.99/yr for .com domains.

Namecheap runs at $10.69/yr for .com domains.

Namecheap seems to be better than Go daddy from my experiences but the newer Eurodns is rising quickly and establishing legitimacy for itself.

Godaddy advantages :
_ There are often attractive promotions
_ DNS update time is extremely fast
_ Free domain tranfer
Godaddy disadvantages :
_ Promotions are limited : by country, by mode of payment ...
_ No direct support via livechat
Namecheap advantages :
_ There are often attractive promotions
_ Always pay by paypal
_ support via livechat ultra fast
Namecheap disadvantages : not found ;)

Godaddy is worst, you can choose any best reputed domain provider

Namecheap is the clear winner here, because even though GoDaddy has a slightly better uptime record, you're better off with Namecheap for its customer support, range of features available and its excellent pricing.

There are plenty of web hosting providers that offer a lot of benefits for its users. GoDaddy and Namecheap are just some of the best ones.
