Just curious. Why are these Gmail accounts so popular? Especially I don't see the need when running a web hosting company myself cause I can create 1,000's of email accounts as needed. I understand that the size of these accounts are large but why use them even if they are free and get bombarded with Gmail contextual ads?

google's privacy policy on gmail is straight scary :) i dont trust gmail, but i have a bunch of invites.

When I'm useing a high security level,I can not login to G-mail. They ask me to enable active x control or set the security level to low.

i signed up with gmail some time back and i still havent got the invite option so i cant invite my friend over... whats up with that?? has gmail stopped giving invites?? :O

you have to use Gmail to send and recieve for 1-2 mail then invitation option will be available.
