Hello
How can we change the time/date on a VPS (linux)?
Thank you

Using SSH you can change the time/date.
Run the date command to make sure you have the correct time by simply typing "date" in SSH.
If you have the wrong timezone set, use "timeconfig" or "linuxconf" to set the correct timezone.
Hope this helps.

To update time from time server, run
ntpdate time.nist.gov

You probably can't change the time using the date command inside your VPS as it is set in the host node, but you should be able to set the timezone correctly show it shows the right time.

If you are Unix shell user, you can ssh in your server and use Unix command: date
If you are Windows person, use Unix server's X-windows' GUI to set date just like Microsoft Windows OS.
