Chicago, Illinois, August 27th 2012 - Web hosting and dedicated server provider ServerGurus, LLC today announced the addition of Xeon E3 V2 “Ivy Bridge” CPUs to its product catalog, in a move to expand its hardware offerings to include the latest in cutting-edge Intel processor technology.

The addition of the new quad-core “Ivy Bridge” processors, including E3-1230V2, E3-1240V2, and E3-1280V2 models, among others, comes after ServerGurus launched its high-end line of hex-core Xeon E5 “Sandy Bridge” servers, based on HP’s new ProLiant DL380 G8 server chassis, earlier in the summer.

The hardware featured in the freshly rolled-out server line will include HP’s updated ProLiant DL120 G7 server chassis, and will be tailored for a budget-oriented consumer class. ServerGurus’ standard array of SSD, SATA3, and SAS storage devices will be available for the new E3-series servers, as well as a full range of hardware and service upgrades

ServerGurus has announced immediate availability of the new processors in all four of its worldwide locations, including Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and London.
