Do Not Use 1&1!!!!

I used 1&1 in the past for domain registrations AND hosting. I would recommend you to stay away from 1&1 for both services. They have a history of billing for unauthorized charges on credit cards. I am on a legal suit against them.

Fine I will check my bills, never noticed any problems in the last 3 years with them on billing anyway :-). More information would be useful otherwise how do I know your just not spamming for the web host you mention!?

i've had problems with 1&1... different ones though.

things may be different now, but i registered a domain with them for use on my own hosting services... their control panel wouldn't let me switch the domain to my name servers. support was useless so i had to transfer my domain to a different registrar!

Though personally I have never experienced any negative things from 1&1 but I wonder how they have a whole load of unsatisfied customers as I have read a lot about them on different forums. I suppose earlier it used to be a pretty good company but I'm clueless what's happened to them now.
