Here is a nifty little website that runs a DNS test on your host, to see how well they actually have their server setup:

http://www.dnsreport.com/

Just something fun for getting information....

Enjoy.

I've been using dnsstuff.com for quite a while now, and it gives me all I need. Further more I can access it from anywhere and it's free.

I don't believe it is absolutely free anymore.

They offer a paid subscription now, but they have much more tools available for the paying subscribers. However all their old DNS tools are still free, and that's what I'm using.

I can only use it to test the host I intend to use it, right? Any funny ways to test the host I'm about to sign with? Is it a good idea ti find out what are the sites hosted on the shared accounts at webhostingbuzz.com and use this service?
