Many companies have chosen to outsource their Exchange Email Server rather then deal with the hassles of licensing and system admin issues. Intermedia.NET came out with an Exchange ROI Calculator (http://www.intermedia.net/roi-calculator.asp) that can help you see the possible savings. That said I would take any calculations there with a grain of salt as it is a sales tool for them.

There are a number of different Exchange Hosting comparison sites that can help you make the decision of which company to go with:

http://www.cheaphostingdirectory.com/ - cheap web hosting provider companies that offer great services with budget & affordable prices, as well as Daily & Weekly expiring domain name lists that have traffic
http://www.exchangehostingreviews.com/ - Customer ratings & reviews of Hosting Companines that offer Microsoft Exchange Hosted Solutions
http://www.msexchange.org/services/Exchange-Hosting/ - Find out which Exchange Hosting solution suits your needs by checking the MSExchange.org Exchange Hosting Comparison Chart.
