Think Windows 2003 is more stable than Windows 2008 as it must be tested and improved some more time.
Altogether ServerPoint.com must be good in providing their services and I believe that all issues will be solved very quickly in case they occur.

As fas a Linux vs. Windows, of course these are two different worlds entirely. Linux is most popular on dedicated servers, but Windows has it place for certain needs, like ASP.

As far as Wondows Server 2003 vs. 2008, 2003 is still what is mostly being deployed but 2008 is coming on fast.

You know globaltap.com offers all those OSs on their dedis as well and I believe it's quite natural for a reputable company to offer them all. It gives the ability to choose the necessary one for their clients.

There is no denying the fact that serverpoint.com is stable company and you can trust it. As for the choice of platform, I highly recommend you to choose Windows 2003 because it is more secure and stable.

Well, in most cases in mainly depends on the applications you are going to host. I advise you to choose windows 2003 because it is more secure rather than 2008. Serverpoint.com is trustworthy company and I would say it will be good choice of the host.

Alternatively youcan have a solution based on one of four platforms (Linux, Windows, FreeBSD, Solaris) from Globaltap.com - the company is peer with Server Point, also ten years already they work, and the hosting they offer is really one of the best.

Over the past month we have made some major progress on the BSD port of Bordeaux. Bordeaux for FreeBSD now has a .sh installer, the same one that we use on Linux, so you will need to have py-gtk installed for the installer to work proper........
