Cloud hosting is more flexible than vps hosting.
Still recommend you to contact kvchosting.net (http://www.kvchosting.net) or rareservers.com (http://www.rareservers.com) team and ask this questions. Their team is responsive.
Try to compare their pricing and choose the best host for your specific needs and budget.

Cloud hosting is based on the most innovative Cloud computing technologies that allow unlimited number of machines to act as one system. Other hosting solutions (shared or dedicated) depend on one machine only, while cloud hosting security is guaranteed by many servers.

For those who need cloud hosting or cloud vps hosting, can recommend viux.com web host.
It's satisfying to be able to quickly handle the technical side of hosting my site and remain focused on improving the content.

CLOUD HOSTING- The cloud hosting is basically preferred to the services for a corporate level and thus it interconnects the web server to be operated across the world. The opposed hosting services that is the traditional hosting services are rendered from various servers. The cloud hosting is done when an organisation outsources its cloud storage services to any service provider.

VPS HOSTING- The customized hosting services are designed in such a way that the database driven website performs the applications and services for each provider. The Cloud VPS Server reduces the hardware and power expenditure for the virtualization of the services that allows the business to run along with the legacy and not with the older versions.

A Cloud server can be called as a VPS server yet a VPS isn't a cloud server. The following are some key contrasts between a cloud facilitating and a VPS or VDS facilitating. In a VPS facilitating, one committed server (assume a devoted server with 64 GB RAM and assets) is parceled into various servers.

VPS is your own server which is act as your computer on which you can host the multiple sites, install applications and related services on it. You can built your own security alters and firewall on the dedicated server. You will have your own set of bandwidth, hard-disk and resources. You can rent the disk space, bandwidth, resources on the dedicated server.

You will have the root access of the server as it's your own server.

Cloud hosting -

Cloud hosting service will have the on demand resource allocation. There is harder security setup on the cloud hosting service.

Main principle of cloud hosting is divide as per the need. Cloud used to distribute the required resources on multiple servers as used them as per the requirement. There are multiple servers work together. If one server fails then other will start loading the same task without any delay. Cloud is nothing but the one larger storage space and processor.

Here are the some of the advantages of cloud hosting for you -

1. Accessibility - Main advantage of cloud hosting is that the files are accessible anywhere and anytime. You can access the files when you would like to access without matter of place.

2. Backup facility - Cloud hosting service always have the copy of your data on the the server. So in the case of disaster, you will have the copy of data even if the data on the main server get deleted or lost.

3. Low cost solution - You will need to pay just the amount for the storage which you are actually using.

4. Secure service - You don't have to worry about the security. Cloud hosting provider will have the best infrastructure on which you don't need to worry about the security , they have their setup for security.

5. High degree of uptime

VPS hosting:

VPS (https://www.esds.co.in/vps-hosting) is an old traditional virtualization technology where one physical server, divided into several smaller server containers that each act as their own virtual server environment.

Pros:

Typically less expensive than cloud servers.
If needed one VPS can be rebooted without affecting other VPSs.

Cons:

They do not offer high-availability. If a physical server fails, all VPSs on that server fail.
Security concerns. If one container compromised on your node then your VPS could be negatively affected.
Computing resources are shared between all server, RAM, bandwidth and CPU performance can be affected if a VPS is demanding a higher load.

Cloud Hosting

Cloud Hosting services that are provided to customers is a peace of multiple interconnected servers that comprise a cloud and as opposed to traditional hosting forms such as shared hosting, and dedicated hosting, data is rendered from various servers.

Pros

Custom Infrastructure - clients can include custom network architecture, firewalls, load balancing and IP deployment.
Availability and Scalability - if one physical server fails, cloud servers/instance can be moved to another physical server without an outage.
Completely secure since you virtually have your own server and completely separated with no risk to your data from amid.

Cons:

Typically, a little more expensive than VPS.

VPS (Virtual Private Server) is a hosting facility where one physical server is divided into many virtual servers. Each virtual server will have its dedicated server environment. As there is a dedicated server environment, the user can customize and configure the server resources precisely in the way they want.

On the other hand, in cloud hosting, the server resources are spread among the bunch of physical machines instead of having a dedicated server. As the users get multiple servers so they can get the power to increase or decrease server resources whenever they want, but it does not allow customization.

Cloud Hosting or cloud computing and VPS hosting are similar to each environment. Only the difference is VPS hosting provides us with a virtual server sitting on the one physical server while on the other side cloud hosting will provide us with that virtual instance on the cluster of servers that are sharing resources. Both hosting is best in their service.

The term cloud hosting or computing can be defined in several ways. To respond to this question and contrast the two services, I’ll define cloud hosting as a utility where a cloud service vendor provides a virtual machine instance that does not have fixed computing attributes. While there may be a minimum or maximum size configuration for the server, the virtual machine computing configuration can grow or shrink dynamically dependent on the resources requested by the application. The billing method for the resources is based on usage over a period of time for the CPU, RAM, HD, and Network.

VPS or managed virtual servers are delivered as a traditional managed server although running as a virtual server, typically in a multi-tenant environment. The customer will order the server with fixed attributes and alter those attributes manually, when necessary. Vendors will typically price this service as individual components associated with the machine or as a service bundle and the resources are guaranteed to be available.

While Cloud Hosting boasts of higher availability, better uptimes and blazing fast website load speed, VPS Hosting guarantees a fixed level of performance since a set level of system resources are dedicated to each compartment.

Cloud computing is the buzzword of the moment, but what does it mean? This is really ready for prime time, or you want to stay with VPS?

First, some definitions:

Head in the Clouds?

In a sense, cloud computing, is a grid computing that borrow the overall computing resources for application processing rather than local servers or user devices. This is an updated model of a supercomputer for the IT company of the people, promising trillions of calculations per second for financial services, personal data and a huge, immerse gaming network.

Cloud computing brings together a group of servers using (mostly) low-cost, consumer-level components of a PC on the network, the distribution of data crunching cleaning. Virtualization techniques can maximize Cloud computing power. Standards for the PC and network connectivity, and software do all the work. Now, cloud computing has become the hot thing, and its potential for accessing and sharing of computing power as a virtual resource, security and a scalable way, makes it attractive for large corporate data centers. It’s all pretty vague and uncertain, though, and early adopters need courage, as well as expanding budgets.

VPS Hosting, Tried and Trusted

VPS means virtual private servers, which is created on a special physical server in a data center. VPS essentially stand-alone server hardware sharing a single physical server, something like a dedicated server with its own memory, disk space, as well as the IP address. Since you can manually restart the VPS and operate as a separate server that can run your own applications. It is similar to dedicated servers, but closer to the cost of hosting plan, VPS servers can process requests for secondary business sites easily.

Each VPS account on the server, have its own partition, which allows them access to their own roots and bandwidth. This improves performance and allows users to run their own applications. VPS works like a dedicated server, in many respects, except when it comes to paying for them, since they are much cheaper in comparison.

Cloud Hosting

Cloud computing is definitely the hot thing and there are couple of cloud hosting providers in India (https://www.esds.co.in/enlight-public-cloud-hosting). Nevertheless, many experts believe that the term is a multitasking buzzword used to describe the confusing array of different technologies. Cloud computing term is used to refer to utility computing, network computing, software as a service “model, Internet applications, remote processing, autonomic computing and peer-to-peer computing.

There are people who believe that the term cloud computing is another key word used to describe too much technology, which makes it confusing for many. Cloud computing term is used to describe grid computing, utility computing, software as a service, Internet-based applications, autonomic computing, peer-to-peer computers and remote processing. When most people use the term, they can have one of these ideas in mind, but the listener can think of something else.

Real Comparison

User forums filled with people who have a number of high-traffic Web sites with 10000 hits per day range, but if there is not high traffic, it is sufficient demand to justify the preparation of solid, capable VPS or Dedicated server. Some of these claims involved a huge cost savings from the cloud, but they show that there are usually standard monthly payments over the utility billing. It is obvious that at present the regular forms of hosting is cheaper to scale to enter a formula, then the lines will intersect and cloud computing will be a less expensive alternative.

The problem, of course is that, there is a lack of awareness. Some clouds providers have developed online price estimate tools like cost calculators, which will be considered with estimated bandwidth and storage needs that can crank out a monthly bill. That’s all you can do to get a cost comparison at the moment.

Cloud Hosting and VPS Hosting, both are Best…

Only factor matters is the Requirement….

It is the biggest difference between the 2 servers' environments scale. Cloud hosting offers great server power and ultimate flexibility, resources to pricing. A VPS hosting is a great fit to simply launch a website that has an outgrown limits to shared hosting environments.

These days, there is a lot of confusion concerning the technological differences between Cloud & VPS Hosting when it comes to choosing the best Web Hosting option for your needs.
Cloud hosting and Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting are the two main forms of hosting.

VPS Hosting
Virtual Private Server is the abbreviation for VPS. In this hosting approach, you have one Physical Server that's partitioned into several Virtual Servers. However, they all reside on the same Physical Server, each of these virtual servers' functions as its dedicated server environment. In VPS you have your own allocated bandwidth and storage and don’t have to share to others.

Cloud Hosting
Cloud Hosting works on the Virtualization Technology in which a Dedicated Server splits into multiple virtual machines, known as cloud servers. These cloud servers are inter-connected forming a single network for hosting your websites. All of the cluster’s cloud servers have identical copies of the hosting resources for each website. In case, one server gets down than the other server will cover for it, making the website up & running. This high availability & Data Redundancy makes it the perfect choice for the hosting a heavy website/application.

To know more in detail I would recommend to read this blog https://infinitivehost.com/blog/vps-hosting-vs-cloud-hosting-what-is-the-difference/

Cloud server hosting (https://www.bodhost.com/web-servers/cloud-hosting) utilizes a distributed network of virtual servers for high scalability and redundancy, allowing dynamic resource allocation based on demand. In contrast, VPS hosting involves partitioning a single physical server into multiple virtual servers, offering dedicated resources to each user but with limited scalability tied to the underlying hardware. Cloud hosting often follows a pay-as-you-go model, while VPS hosting typically has fixed pricing plans based on allocated resources. The choice depends on factors like scalability needs, budget, and desired control.

VPS hosting is like renting a fancy apartment:
You get your own dedicated space with specific resources (RAM, CPU, storage).

Cloud hosting is like staying in a fancy hotel:
It's flexible and adapts to your changing needs, like getting an extra room if more friends come.

Running a small website with consistent traffic? VPS might be good.
Hosting a growing e-commerce site with unpredictable rush? Cloud could be better.
