Namescheap is better
Domain name providers are pretty notorious for having intro pricing…then raising the price on you to make money ongoing. So for me the best way of judging apples to apples is to look at their 1 year renewal pricing for .com domain names.
GoDaddy runs at $14.99/yr for .com domains.
Namecheap runs at $10.69/yr for .com domains.
Namecheap seems to be better than Go daddy from my experiences but the newer Eurodns is rising quickly and establishing legitimacy for itself.
Godaddy is better than Namecheap because Godaddy are providing fast, secure and reliable web hosting services at an affordable rates.
Godaddy advantages :
_ There are often attractive promotions
_ DNS update time is extremely fast
_ Free domain tranfer
Godaddy disadvantages :
_ Promotions are limited : by country, by mode of payment ...
_ No direct support via livechat
Namecheap advantages :
_ There are often attractive promotions
_ Always pay by paypal
_ support via livechat ultra fast
Namecheap disadvantages : not found ;)
Godaddy is worst, you can choose any best reputed domain provider
Namecheap is the clear winner here, because even though GoDaddy has a slightly better uptime record, you're better off with Namecheap for its customer support, range of features available and its excellent pricing.
There are plenty of web hosting providers that offer a lot of benefits for its users. GoDaddy and Namecheap are just some of the best ones.
