I just added another totally unrelated Addon Domain to my server hosting via cPanel. There's absolutely nothing on it, no files, nothing. I can see this via Filezilla.
The web hosting addons will cost you more OR some of them are free. Let's Encrypt SSL certificate which for free, addon/parked domains, email service, backup facility, 24x7 technical support, spamassassin etc are the addons which are provided.
So you should first confirm, whether they are free or has the extra cost.
