Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. In the context of search engine optimization, keyword density can be used to determine whether a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or keyword phrase.

    * The percentage of times keyword or key phases appears on a web page compared to the total word on that page.

    * In early 90s keyword density was an important ranking factor, but later on search engines start giving priority to other factors.

    * Over use of keyword is called keyword stuffing or search spam.

    * Webmaster advise keyword density between 1-3 percent but researcher don't suggest to use keyword density matrices. It was old practice, and dead. Use keywords in wise way. Natural keywords, don't stuff
