You can take website backup through a panel, FTP and in Wordpress, there are plugins for backup but it is better to take the manual backup of the website.
Log under your cPanel control board. Click on the "Backup" symbol. Select "Generate / download a full Backup". Select "Home Directory" done "Backup Destination" and enter your email address, preceding clicking those "Generate Backup" catch.

There are many plugins and control panels available for website backup on the market. UpdraftPlus is one of the good plugins for backup, and the control panel like cPanel is designed with a backup feature. Also, you can google and find the tutorial for website backup and easily back up your website.
Log in to the cPanel control panel. Click the Backup icon. Select Generate / Download Full Backup. In [Backup Destination], select [Home Directory], enter your e-mail address, and click the [Generate Backup] button.
You can take backup of your website through Cpanel. Go to Cpanel and click backup icon. Then generate a backup and download it. If your website is made with wordpress you can take back up with WordPress plugin. There are so many backup plugin available.
n the Remote Site area, open your website's root directory. In the Local Site area, open a folder on your computer where you want to store the backup. To download your website to your computer, in the Remote Site area, select all of your website's files and directories and then drag them into the Local Site area.

If you are a cpanel user then you can take backup of your website through cpanel:
Login to cpanel >> Backup.
If you are accessing from FTP then you can take backup from FTP account.
You have to manually download all your files from your account.
