SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is the practice of including content on your site that has the potential to improve your site’s visibility to search engines and their users – in other words, it can help your site show up more often in relevant searches.

AdWords is Google’s pay-per-click (PPC) advertising solution, which allows businesses and website owners like you to bid on the chance to show an ads next to searches on Google.com, right when people are looking for what you have to offer. You only pay when someone clicks on your ad to visit your site or call your business, and the ads give you the opportunity to be noticed by a wider audience online. Plus, you can tweak your ads or your targeting anytime, to reach a specific group of people (by interest, geographical area, etc.) or promote a specific deal or product. This immediacy can be a great resource for small companies who who can't frequently update their SEO to reflect sales, promotions, or seasonal changes to their offerings.

    hi

Organic ranking is your “natural” position on a search result from a search engine, like Google, where as AdWords is the paid position on Google, often in the top.

You can optimise your organic ranking by doing SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

AdWords is marketing on Google, and is your way of paying for clicks to your site, and hopefully getting customers.

I would like to recommend you a combination of both SEO & Adwords to ensure maximum exposure for your business on the search results page. Even if you rank in a top 3 position in the organic search results we still recommend Adwords in most cases, here’s why:

    1. Adwords can be turned on and off instantly whereas SEO can take a lot longer to impact search results
    2. Adwords almost guarantees your business is being displayed in the search results. There are literally hundreds and even thousands of ways people can search for you, your business or your products and services. There’s no guarantee you’ll rank in the organic search results but you’re almost guaranteed a ranking with Adwords
    3. SEO usually takes longer than Adwords to take effect but can help you rank number 1 in Google for a number of key search terms. There’s no cost per click associated with the organic search results however usually a small ongoing cost is required to maintain your search engine rankings.
    4. Adwords also allows you to react very quickly to a changing marketplace targeting new terms visitors may be searching for as a result of a recent newspaper article or TV segment or some other event such as a recent storm for example. Search engine optimisation also controls how your business appears in the search engines.
