The Google sandbox or “sandbox effect” is a filter that Google applies to new websites that want to rank in the search results for specific phrases.

The Google Sandbox is an alleged filter placed on new websites. The result is that a site does not receive good rankings for its most important keywords and keyword phrases. Even with good content, abundant incoming links and strong Google PageRank, a site is still adversely affected by the Sandbox effect.

    Hi

Sandbox effect as it has become known in the SEO world, is a dampening filter that is applied to new websites. It usually lasts for between two and six months from the site's launch date,

The Google Sandbox Effect is a theory used to explain why newly-registered domains or domains with frequent ownership changes rank poorly in Google Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS). ... It may seem that the Sandbox is unfair to newly launched websites, but Google created the Sandbox with good reasons.

The Google Sandbox Effect is a theory used to explain why newly-registered domains or domains with frequent ownership changes rank poorly in Google Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS). In other words new websites are put into a “sandbox” or a holding area and have their search ratings on hold until they can prove worthy of ranking.

The concept of sandbox is about reducing the page rank of newly created domains temporarily. This strategy is done by Google so that the wrong optimizing methods applied by the SEOs (to outsmart Google’s page rank) don’t succeed. The SEOs try to get many inbound links for a website from the ones they own already.

The Google sandbox or "sandbox impact" is a channel that Google applies to new sites that need to rank in the indexed lists for particular expressions. The channel exists to keep SEOs and spammers from effortlessly controlling list items by fulfilling the greater part of Google's major offsite and on location components.

The Google sandbox refers to a commonly held belief that Google has a filter that places all new websites under restrictions for a certain amount of time to prevent them from ranking in searches.
