Well it depends on competitor niche. If you have low competition then your business will start generate lead with in two to three months from marketing campaign started.

In marketing, lead generation is the initiation of consumer interest or enquiry into products or services of a business. Leads can be created for purposes such as list building, e-newsletter list acquisition or for sales leads.

There's no simple answer to your question because it depends on a lot of different things. It definitely takes some time to generate leads regularly, but that doesn't mean you won't have a few trickle in at the beginning. It's a marathon not a sprint.

Lead generation will start as soon as you put a Call-to-Action and a form on your website. You should be able to receive leads after the first 6 months, but wait until the 12th months to see a clear picture. Wait a little longer, and in the 21st month you should expect 4.5 times more leads.

Clients who allow us to do what we do almost always receive unbelievable results in a reasonable time frame – typically about six months from the start of the program.

Lead generation, the marketing process of stimulating and capturing interest in a product or service for the purpose of developing a sales pipeline, allows companies to nurture targets until they're ready to buy. ... The higher quality leads you direct your sales team to, the more of those leads will result in sales.
