Dedicated gaming server

I am thinking of starting up a server which will just provide access to a number of online games. What sort of server would I need for this? Would I need any other bells or whistles?

I am not a specialist in gaming servers, and have never actually ran one before, but I would certainly check out jolt.co.uk and http://www.clanservers.com/ they do provide great game servers and may be able to provide you with a little more support on the issue.

I am sure other members of HS who have experience in this field will get in touch and provide you with some feedback, good luck.
