Click on the error to find out what is wrong.
If the sitemap was deleted, or is corrupt, you will need to generate a new sitemap
If the sitemap is inaccessible due to a permission setting, you need to change its permission setting. After that you can fix the sitemap problem, you need to re-submit the sitemap to google.

You can check your sitemap errors in the webmaster tools, which is offered by google and is totally free of cost. After knowing what are the errors in your sitemap try to remove those errors. If you are using wordpress then you can try free xml sitemap generator plugin, which creates sitemaps without any errors.

    Test your sitemap
Click Add/Test Sitemap on the report landing page.
Enter the URL of the sitemap in the dialog that appears, and click Test.
When the test is completed, click Open Test Results to check for errors. Fix your errors.
