    Hi all,
I'm planning to redesign our company website and need suggestions to create it with WordPress or custom HTML. Which one is better to improve SEO and increase user experience?

It depends on you that which one suits you. If you have no experience with web development then you can go with Wordpress, but if you have experience working with HTML and Javascript then, of course, you can do it manually(by coding).

HTML will definitely be better for SEO. An HTML will always load faster and be more secure. You would also be able to create a more bespoke website if required by simply using a framework like bootstrap.

However, you shouldn't discount WordPress. It's definitely SEO friendly. Depending on how you deploy your theme i.e. off the shelf ThemeForest theme or bespoke Sage9/genesis theme will determine how SEO friendly it is and prone to security it is.

Some of the ThemeForest themes look really good but when it comes to SEO especially speed they are very poor not to mention vulnerable to security due to the way they are developed.

Using a framework is definitely the way to go for a WordPress site. Using Sage9 will give you a very SEO friendly site, speed and be safe from common security issues.

All this will depend on how you answer this question: Do you need a static site that will hardly change? OR a dynamic one that will require frequent updates to content and look and feel? If it's the later then go for WordPress others stick to HTML.

Obviously, HTML custom website is better for SEO as such types of websites are fast and dynamic and take very little time to load compared to the loading time of WordPress sites. Search Engines love HTML sites as user friendly and more traffic come to these sites. And you won’t have to update, change or add anything to HTML sites.

What is better for SEO Wordpress or HTML?
Static sites load faster, are easier to index by search engines and could hold an SEO advantage in that sense. Similarly they are also more secure. But if your site requires constant updates, like adding new content, then it's better to use a CMS like wordpress.

WordPress Sites does not rank better than HTML sites, WordPress sites do not have any inherent advantage or disadvantage over home-developed HTML/CSS websites. Google treats both kinds of sties the same, in broad strokes. If Google gave preference to WordPress over other CMSs or over custom code, 99% of the web would be using WordPress. Anything Google does give preference to is dominant on the web, so it should come as no surprise that anything sanctioned becomes the de-facto default.

However, WordPress can have some advantages and some disadvantages for SEO, depending on how you set it up and what you’re using.

you are of course entirely free to choose whichever method you want to use. If you have the money to spare for a high quality developer and you want to do something customized, with detailed and interesting animations and custom code, I would recommend using a custom HTML site.

If, on the other hand, you want a simple website that operates a storefront and has a blog that covers all of the SEO bases, you can do a lot worse than WordPress. There’s really nothing wrong with using WordPress, so long as you’re able to keep up with the maintenance.

Definitely No doubt, Wordpress is the greatest supporter for SEO & Web Development. Just using WordPress as it gives you several advantages in the SEO game. Especially in regards to on-page SEO, the platform allows you to take care of a lot of important elements.
