Quite literally a landing page is a page on your website that visitors land on after clicking on an advertisement or marketing link. What makes landing pages unique from a regular page on your website, though, is that they are built to drive visitors to take a very specific action.

    Definition:

Landing page as the name suggests is the web page on which the visitor visits or lands due to our digital marketing efforts.

For marketers/company/business/brand - the purpose of a landing page is to convert the visitor into a lead/customer. They do this by strategically placing a web form, CTA (Call-to-Action) button with appropriate messaging which the visitor will engage with or show interest in. The brand would want to encapsulate the most important info of their website on this landing page.
For visitors - Visitors are normal people who have surfed the web and have visited the landing page or clicked on the Ad given by the brand on Google, social media and other digital marketing platforms. Due to the paucity of time (less attention span of internet users), the user/visitor wouldn’t go through each web page of the website he/she is interested in. Hence, a landing page would be ideal for the visitor to know about the brand/product/service/feature he/she is interested in!
Note: The marketing team of the business should be able to capture the viewers/prospective visitors’ attention and make them click on their Ad/link.
The landing page can have a video too! The messaging (information), theme, color, the tone & images should complement each other and should match the Ad on which the visitor clicked on.
Always keep the CTA button on the 1st top half and left side of the landing page.
To create a landing page, you would need coding experience. But what if there’s an easy-to-use, drag and drop landing page builder with built-in, custom templates and you don’t require coding experience to create awesome, creative, highly converting landing pages with it? It is Agile CRM’s landing page builder which does all the above things and much more! It has a free plan too.
    Hope this helps!
