process. Most people have a plan and most people have some
sort of metric for judging success. In our internal SEO
training class, I have pointed out that more than one metric
can be contrived for measuring success or failure in a
search optimization campaign.

Well, when your website traffic gets increased then you can confirm that your SEO campaign is working good and if not just change the technique what you are using now.

You can judge the seo compaign working or not through making search through related keywords and their ranking in SERPs

To check SEO Campaign is working well, check Google Webmaster tool to check the position of keywords, website insight, status of a website, Google Analytics to analyze the website traffic, checking of keyword ranking on SERP etc.
