Parked domains are the domains which are not used. These domains do not have any email accounts, webpage etc. like a domain name has. These domains are just taken and kept either for development or for selling them in future. This is generally done by resellers as they can sell domains if they have them already registered.

Lets take up an example for this. If you have xyz.com and xyz.co.uk domains. You want to have same content on both these websites. In this case you park a domain, wherin you have 2 domains but the same content is displayed for both the domains. Both the domains will be browsable individually unlike in case of a re-direction. This is the called domain parking.

Domain parking is an extremely inexpensive way to secure a domain for later development, redirection of Web traffic, or re-sale. Domain registrants, or sellers, commonly offer domain parking free with domain registration, as there is virtually no cost involved with domain parking.

Domain Parking is where you want your different URL or domain to link to the same page so no matter which URL your visitors search will link to the same page.

Parked domains are additional domains which you host on your account. They will display the same website as your primary domain and do not have separate web statistics, but you can give the parked domain its own email boxes.

Domain parking refers to the registration of an internet domain name without that domain being associated with any services such as e-mail or a website. This may have been done with a view to reserving the domain name for future development, and to protect against the possibility of cybersquatting.

Domain parking refers to the process of reserving a domain name in advance for future use. Domain parking can be used to defend against cyber squatting or to get involved in cyber squatting, a technique that involves the acquisition of a domain name that is exactly identical to the name of a pre-existing business and then selling this domain name to the original name-holder for a profit. In domain parking, there is no need to upload any content on the website, which usually just displays just an under construction page. The domain name acquired using the domain parking process is known as a parked domain.

Domain Parking is a process of registering a domain name but this domain name is not associated with any service like it is not associated with any website or email service.

The domains are parked for the purpose of future development and to protect domain names against cyber squatting (buying domain names associated with the names of to top brands in order to sell those for a profit)

A parked domain name is the additional domain name which points to the main domain name.
