Reverse SEO is the technique of suppressing negative publicity that targets your company in search engines. The term was coined in 2006 by Clinton Cimring. It includes improving your rank OR decreasing that ‘bad press’ rank by:

-updating and syndicating positive content on net
-promoting a bunch of other sites that talk positive about your company
-getting backlinks from authority websites
-starting blogging
-posting videos online
-Negative publicity of your competitors and bringing them down (in certain niches)
