    robots file or meta robots?

Which is the good method for robots?
Should I use robots.txt file or should I use meta robots tag on every single page.?
Is there any difference between these 2 methods?
Thanks in advance for any sharing.

Robot file is secure, safe. It is easy to implement and upload. I would suggest, robot.txt is the best.

I recommend robots.txt and when it doesn't work properly then use Meta Robots

Robots.txt is better as compared to meta robots because if we are using the meta robots we have update the code each and every page.
