    Which one do you prefer?

    I had tested Joomla and i find it pretty stable and SEO friendly. There are alot of extensions available for joomla which is a great plus.

    PHP-Nuke is the only one I see in your list that I liked when I used it. It has a ton of mods you can addon to it, and it is very easy to work with. The only downside to it is that it seems that the script kiddies love to attack the PHP-Nuke sites. The newer versions are more secure then previous versions, but there is always a whole in every software, somewhere!

    I think it depends on what the site is for and how much work you are willing to put into it. Most people are probably not familiar with most of the 14 you list above. Which one do you prefer?

    Have you looked at Xaraya it is pretty sweet. http://www.xaraya.com/ Joomla is pretty nice to. I have used phpbb2, mambo, postnuke, phpnuke, mambo, wordpress and a lot more that you dont have listed. I think your title is off though as the are not all cms...

    I try to avoid open source code, because it increases security risks. If you have the money invest in your own CMS.

    You know folossi, I dont get it about these threads being started. Now that I recall correctly, I saw this same thread on another forum as well.. I cant get my paws on where it was though. DOnt know what it is, but good observation.

    PHP Nuke EVO is what i prefer its not on your list but its cuts out all the junk not needed in other versions of nuke
