    non www to www redirect on windows server

    I have a website which is hosted on windows server 7(IIS). My problem is it's index page is on aspx but rest of the pages are html. And I want to redirect all pages to www for non-www. I have no idea how to do it. Please anyone suggest me solution.

    Hi,

    this is same i m looking from long time. i have asked on forums too so many times for help, but i did not get any response from anyone. this is really painful in IIS server and i do not know how we can fix this issue.

    You can use URL Rewrite option from IIS to perform this task.

    Here's another good explanation for url redirection.

    Users which this procedure is too complicated, my suggestion is to use Google webmaster tools that allows you to select the preferred version of the URL. You can choose between the www or non www version.
