Crash down- can you please elaborate a little more what is your definition of crashing down?

Is there a error when you visit a website?
Are you being taken to a different website?
    Does the website even open?

Usually if the website is working fine before, there are chances that some one might have changed some files and now it is not working.

Again, if the web hosting is very slow, you may not be able to load up a website properly and you might not see the entire posts or images.

Errors- are the pictures not being displayed?

Or the home page is not opening up?

There is a good chance that some one messed up with the coding of the website.

    1. Cable tripping – Someone who probably shouldn’t be walking around in a server room trips on a cable.
    2. Jolt Cola – Someone spills coffee or Jolt Cola on the web server, or, if things are really bad, beer.
    3. DDoS attack – An angry, angst-ridden teenager launches a DDoS attack on your website.
    4. Police raid – It happened to The Pirate Bay…
    5. Bandwidth – Your web host decides you have consumed enough bandwidth this month and cuts you off.
    6. Burnout – Your web server decides to spontaneously combust.
    7. Blame it on the weather – The next big hurricane hits the US East Coast.
    8. Web server upgrade – Your web host upgrades the web server. Nobody told you and now nothing works. This is strongly connected to point 4…

There are endless reasons why a website could go down. There could be a problem in the code or perhaps there could be a problem with the server.
Websites run on machines and every machine requires a downtime. You can set backups in place. You can take extra precautions. But with a list of a billion things that could go wrong, something is bound to succeed in bringing your website down sooner or later.
Then there are also human errors that need to be considered. People operate and update websites. People maintain the servers your site is hosted on. Just one mistake made by an individual and everything comes crashing down.
