VPS or what?

First of all, before some people might jump on me, i tried posting in the request zones but i don't got access in i tried for atleast 25 minutes to find the cause but it's all confusing me. So this forum is relatively close to what i need "For users having questions or wanting to shares experiences on reselling web hosting."

So here goes nothing.. I need a host. But not a normal host ..

I'd like to run a small open tibia server which needs not alot of space, nor alot of bandwidth/memory. Its an MMORPG btw. I'm not sure of the system specs i need but anyway thats why i'm asking my question here. The server is run from an .exe cmd window and runs on windows. So i think i just need a windows host.. The files used for player accounts etc are xml files so it need to support that.

On top of that i need a domainname (pref .com .net or .org ) with php and MySQL support.

I looked around and thought a VPS server is something for me, although i might be wrong. Anyone can help me a bit or direct me to some good hosters for my situation?

If the app you have runs on windows then a windows VPS is what you will need unless it can be ran with wine on Linux? Windows is prob your best bet though.

I don't know what your budget is you could check out memset they do windows based VPS's that would do the job for what you are needing.

Hey Kev you may go for a VPS as that will be the choice to opt for. Make a list of the hosts which you think are the best and then compare the various aspects between them for knowing the exact bargain which you want to go for.
