Cloud hosting solutions vary greatly. Even if they appear the same `on the outside', they're not. Each has a unique combination of underlying infrastructure, features, interfaces and layers. That said, they can be organized into three general categories, each defined by the architecture of the solution. And that all-important architecture determines or influences the level of control, flexibility and transparency each solution delivers.

Cloud hosting services are the hottest trend in the hosting market. Cloud hosting has many advantages over the shared hosting services and sometimes performs better than dedicated hosting solutions. There are different cloud computing technologies and cloud hosting providers offer different cloud service platforms.

Cloud hosting services provide hosting for websites on virtual servers which pull their computing resource from extensive underlying networks of physical web servers. It follows the utility model of computing in that it is available as a service rather than a product and is therefore comparable with traditional utilities such as electricity and gas. Broadly speaking the client can tap into their service as much as they need, depending on the demands of their website, and they will only pay for what they use.

Cloud computing is based on the most impressive Reasoning processing technological innovation that allow endless number of devices to act as one system. Other web host alternatives (shared or dedicated) rely on one device only, while cloud web host protection is assured by many web servers. The cloud technological innovation allows easy incorporation of additional sources, such as area or RAM and thus allow website development.

Cloud computing is the use of computing resources (hardware and software) that are delivered as a service over a network (typically the Internet). For example, email. The name comes from the common use of a cloud-shaped symbol as an abstraction for the complex infrastructure it contains in system diagrams. Cloud computing entrusts remote services with a user's data, software and computation.

End users access cloud-based applications through a web browser or a light-weight desktop or mobile app while the business software and user's data are stored on servers at a remote location. Proponents claim that cloud computing allows companies to avoid upfront infrastructure costs, and focus on projects that differentiate their businesses instead of infrastructure. Proponents also claim that cloud computing allows enterprises to get their applications up and running faster, with improved manageability and less maintenance, and enables IT to more rapidly adjust resources to meet fluctuating and unpredictable business demand.
