    Magento 1.4 extension development

    Magento introduced a new concept of widget in magento 1.4 , my question is whether to write a magento extension in magento 1.4 is useful or not.

    Magento Development is running in Ecommerce same point you can say to php application development because Magento is also based on PHP technology both are based on Zend Framework. I will recommend you one book: Magento 1.4 Development Cook book and the writer is Nurul Ferdous. there you will learn many feature of 1.4 magento extension.
