    Hello Friends.....

Onpage Optimization refers to the SEO techniques that you use on your web site. This includes updating keywords and phrases and removing those that are no longer viable.

Offpage Optimization refers to those techniques that are done outside of your web site and some forms of onsite maintenance. These include determining your page ranking in the search engines and checking out what your competitors are doing on their sites.

    Thanks

They are both very important. So many websites ignore on-page SEO and just work on building links. I believe it's better to make a site people will bookmark/return to than build links and get lots of visitors that do not return.

Onpage Optimization updating keywords and phrases and removing those that are no longer viable. Basically it refers to the techniques which you on your website.Updating content such as articles, blogs and other important information are also part of on page optimisation.
Offpage Optimization refers to those techniques that are done outside of your web site. Like creating backlinks etc. This helps to improve your pagerank. Creating lots of one-way but quality and related links helps in SE rankings. Both onpage optimization and offpage optimization are important in a successful SEO campaign.

On-page is something you should spend time on getting right to begin with, and once you have done this focus on off-page on an on-going bases. You should still occassionally tweak your on-page content though by updating it regularly.

Don't concentrate on PR though, just think about the rankings in the search engines.

I've seen many questions regarding on-page and off-page SEO. Many webmasters don't have a clear difference between them, so here it is:

The point of On-Page SEO is to optimize you website and pages. This includes a good keyword density within your articles, important meta tags, title tags (for links), alt attribute (for images), the usage of heading tags for the important titles (H1, H2 and H3), and the existence of the sitemap, and robots.txt.

After you have done good on-page SEO, you can start doing Off-Page SEO. This means link popularity, for a good keyword optimization. You can get relevant quality backlinks from social bookmarking websites, microblogging platforms, forum posting and signatures, blog comments and web directories.

Both on-page and off-page optimization are essential for overall effective SEO campaign

Both are important to achieve good rankings on google. Without doing either of them we are not suppose to get results.

Both are equally important and have their own significance in the process of search engine optimization. Off page optimization deals with link building, preferably promoting the client sites through social networking sites, social bookmarking sites, forums, blogs and so on. On page optimization, on the other hand, deals with including effective meta tags with relevant keywords and phrases.

On-page optimization is referred to as an act to optimize a site to influence its search engine rank. And off-page optimization is done to increase traffic, backlinks and good PR.

As between the off-page and off-page, I would say on page optimization is way much better than the former. However firm your off-page optimization efforts are when the content you have is poor and any of those you have written is not worth another set of visits then, in all probability, all your seo efforts will just be in vain.

Off Page SEO is to improve Search Engine Rankings on targeted keywords. In the process of Off Page SEO numbers of back links are improved. On page SEO ensure that all of web pages can be indexed by search engines ensure that they all have at least one link from somewhere on your site.
