Have you looked at their prices? $599.00 USD /mo. for their cheapest VPS? That's insane! Would make much more sense to use Los Angeles, Phoenix, or Dallas/Houston datacenters. The latency isn't going to be that bad. Save yourself $550/mo.

In California i am familiar with vpsunlimited.com, buyvm, Thrust or PhotonVPS but i have no personal experience with any of them.
What you would do is to contact them and ask for a test IP which you can ping/tracert and see which is fastest for you.
