    hello everyone,
Web design is a broad term used to encompass the way that content (usually hypertext or hypermedia) that are delivered to an end-user through the World Wide Web, using a Web browser or other Web-enabled software is displayed. The intent of web design is to create a website—a collection of online content including documents and applications that reside on a Web server/servers. The website may include text, images, sounds and other content, and may be interactive.
some of the web designing tools are as follows…………………………
    • 1 Overview
    • 2 Content
    • 3 Accessible Web design
    • 4 History
    • 5 Website planning
    o 5.1 Context
    o 5.2 Purpose
    o 5.3 Audience
    o 5.4 Content
    o 5.5 Compatibility and restrictions
    o 5.6 Planning documentation
    • 6 Website design
    o 6.1 Multidisciplinary requirements
    o 6.2 Issues
    o 6.3 Environment
    o 6.4 Collaboration
    o 6.5 Form versus function
    o 6.6 Layout
     6.6.1 Layout types
     6.6.2 Layout concerns
    o 6.7 Device
o 6.8 Table less Web design

Web design involves the structure of the website including the information architecture (navigation schemes and naming conventions), the layout or the pages (wireframes or page schematics are created to show consistent placement of items including functional features), and the conceptual design with branding
All websites should begin with a clear strategy so that it is apparent what they are trying to achieve. The strategy then enables the design to fulfill defined goals.

depends what you want to do. dreameaver is pretty good but I prefer to use CMS packages. That way I stay dynamic with links and all updates go online straight away and i can do that anywhere in the world. I usually use Exponent cms. Below are the links to exponent and 2 websites I made with it.

Thumbs up What Williams Web Solutions uses

I use Visual Studio 2005 for html/asp.net development. I use Fireworks primarily for graphics development. For sites I design and host, I use Sitefinity for the CMS after I created the layout using Visual Studio.

The three best web design tools that you can ever use for the creation of those stunning and fully functional websites are Dreamweaver, PHP, and Photoshop. These can create the website that you really like.
