Cloud computing can be simply defined as the practice of using a remote server network which is hosted on internet. This server is used to store, manage and process data rather than using a local server. No matter how big or small is the business, cloud computing can have a big impact. Cloud computing can be of various types like- SaaS, DaaS, PaaS, IaaS. Cloud Computing holds importance in almost every field. Some of the Importance of Cloud Computing are- 1)Extensibility. 2) Security 3)Cost effective 4)Collaboration 5) Allows to work remotely 6)Completely open

Cloud computing is the the use of various services, such as software development platforms, servers, storage and software, over the internet, often referred to as the "cloud."

In general, there are three cloud computing characteristics that are common among all cloud-computing vendors:

The back-end of the application (especially hardware) is completely managed by a cloud vendor.
A user only pays for services used (memory, processing time and bandwidth, etc.).
    Services are scalable

Many cloud computing advancements are closely related to virtualization. The ability to pay on demand and scale quickly is largely a result of cloud computing vendors being able to pool resources that may be divided among multiple clients.

It is common to categorize cloud computing services as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS).

Cloud computing is a sort of computing that depends on sharing computing resources instead of having native servers or personal devices to handle applications. In Cloud Computing, Salesforce is the best option because SalesForce CRM has an edge for sales and lead generation because it has LinkedIn API so users can move profile data into SalesForce leads.

    Benefits of cloud computing:

A full cloud answer ought to make sure that your business information is secured
A good cloud computing should save the business costs on hardware server
Standardization of hardware and software system throughout the business, as this is often managed by the host company

Cloud computing is shared pools of configurable computer system resources and higher-level services that can be rapidly provisioned with minimal management effort, often over the Internet.

Cloud computing is a general term for the delivery of hosted services over the internet. Cloud computing enables companies to consume a compute resource, such as a virtual machine (VM), storage or an application, as a utility -- just like electricity -- rather than having to build and maintain computing infrastructures in house.

Cloud computing is to share computing resources. It involves remote servers and software networks. It's objective is to improve performance so that trillions of instructions are computed per second.

Cloud computing is a pretty broad term that ultimately just means "other people's servers, unless you're talking about a private cloud which is "your servers made to look like those other people's servers. More useful are the specific paradigms within cloud computing: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): I push a button and Amazon/MS/Google gives me some virtual machines. Platform as a Service (PaaS): I push a button and Heroku puts my application on top of its Ruby stack and runs it. Software as a Service (SaaS): I push a button and Google Docs loads.

all the uses of cloud computing, from an IT or administrational view point of view, cloud computing is fairly easy to manage. Cloud computing reduces the load on servers, and the IT team as well. It centralizes and unifies computing standards. A new implementation can quickly take on cloud behavior as soon as it is deployed on the cloud. Every user who accesses the product will have access to the same standard product.

Cloud computing provides a simple way to access servers, storage, databases and a broad set of application services over the Internet. A Cloud services platform such as Amazon Web Services owns and maintains the network-connected hardware required for these application services, while you provision and use what you need via a web application.

Cloud computing basically depends on shared computing resources rather than having local servers or personal devices to handle its applications. Using cloud computing, users can easily connect to the software and applications from wherever they are.
