Well every hosting account has a IP address in shared hosting you will get Shared IP which is probably assigned to 100+ customers but you can always ask your hosting provider for a dedicated IP which can help you to improve SEO and some other kind of benefits

Hosting IP is assigned to clients based on their hosting service, If the client has Shared Hosting service the single IP is been shared by many clients to host their Websites and the client can get his own dedicated IP for shared hosting plan if he want to host E-commerce website. If client has VPS or Other hosting Services, he will get Dedicated IP with hosting plan , even he can add more IP addresses as per his needs.

An Internet Protocol address (IP address) is a numerical label assigned to each device (e.g., computer, printer) participating in a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. An IP address serves two principal functions: host or network interface identification and location addressing.

Every computer connected to the Internet is identified by a unique four-part string, known as its Internet Protocol (IP) address.

You might need to find your website's IP address to point your domain name to it, or to use it to upload your website through File Transfer Protocol (FTP).

Log in to your GoDaddy account.
    Click Web Hosting.
Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
Your IP address displays in the IP Address field in the Server Details column.

In network addressing, the host address, or the host ID portion of an IP address, is the portion of the address used to identify hosts (any device requiring a Network Interface Card, such as a PC or networked printer) on the network. The network ID, by contrast, is the portion of the address that refers to the network itself.

There is often confusion about what is a host name and what is a domain name. A domain name is the name that is purchased from a registrar. ... The way sub-domains are allocated to a host machine is to create a record in the DNS (Domain Name Servers) that records the sub-domain name and the IP address of the host machine.

The Internet, or World Wide Web, is a global network of computers on which information can be shared, posted, housed, updated and exchanged. In simple terms, there are sophisticated computers across the country and world where website content (images, videos, writing…all of it) is stored. These are called web servers.
