    Web Design Steps

Standard web design and development is a process of these steps. This is a very generalized set of steps.

    1 Analysis
    2 Wireframe
    3 Approval
    4 design
    5 develop
    6 test
7 refinement for errors if any

Thumbs up i endorse your efforts

    appreciable efforts.
but according search engine point of view, landing page optimization is also important. if you host site then it's search engine presence is also important.
search engine point of view design is quite different design than conventional web design.

I agree to the rest of the people who have posted their replies, really your presentation of the web design steps is absolutely perfect as it is short and precise and one would remember the points at one go. Just as I did.

There are many steps to design a website.these are::
1.Select a team to manage the development of your website
2.Identify the goals that your website is intended to serve.
3.Select an available domain name for your site and register it with an appropriate domain registry.
4.Choose a web host and contract with them to host your site on their web server
5.Determine the basic architecture and organization of your site
6.Choose the design elements that control the look of your site
    7.Select a navigation system
8.Determine the substantive content of your website
    9.Construct the website
    10.Publish the website
    11.Promote the website etc.
thanks for sharing this information with us.keep up posting.

The core difference between them is the tasks they do; Web designer mainly focus on the design, web developer focus on the functionality of the website. the web developer may not have any designing skills, coz he doesn't care about how the website look, but how it 'acts'
