    Some of the other reason for a person to leave from a website are as below,
    Unnecessary links in the website
    Adult video or content
    Pop up tab unnecessarily showing in the website
    No proper information provided
    Content which is full of words without any separation or without any bullets

    I think more loading time, unattractive images in website is also one of the reason to leave website.

    Popups can be one of the reasons for leaving a website. Secondly, if the user needs information urgently and suppose there is a 3 minute video on the homepage, then without doubt the user will leave the website.

    Web site design is driven by what and who you are targeting. The name of the site and tabs are important. The words you use on your website are extremely important.
