    You can request your web host provider to provide you with the access of full root. Usually most web hosts offer full root access to their clients.

    Also, Majority of firms provide full root for VPS & Dedicated Services.
    However, In the case of webhosting, they provide a sandboxed shell access.

    If you want root access then you should have the VPS or dedicated server of yours. You will need to ask your web hosting provider for root access.

    When you will sing-up for the shared hosting service or reseller service then there won't be root access for you.
